I had the privilege of participating in a highly enriching class composed of individuals from diverse backgrounds. The participants included experts in graphic design, administrative professionals like myself, and business owners eager to acquire the skills necessary for website creation.
This journey proved to be unexpectedly rewarding. While it presented certain challenges, it was immensely satisfying. The course introduced me to intriguing concepts such as "usability testing," PET (Persuasion, Emotion, Trust) tools, and "customer-centric" strategies, which are often employed in marketing, along with many other exciting ideas.
From the outset, we were equipped with a structured approach, encompassing steps from initial research to the creation and refinement of wireframes, which are crucial for back-end website development.
The program consisted of 10 modules, offering courses on design software usage, including WordPress, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. HTML and CSS were also covered, albeit at a brisk pace.
I had the opportunity to meet numerous highly skilled designers in the class. Their work demonstrated professional-level technical and design expertise.
As I embark on the journey of web design for my recruitment and business consultancy, Angel Hive Recruitment, I recognize that I am just beginning to learn and there is much more to master before achieving proficiency.
Angel Hive Recruitment now proudly includes a talented pool of UI/UX Designers, and I am more than pleased to provide recommendations.
